Arletty had an already notable risque film behind her with the 1936 film "Mais n'Te Promène Donc pas Toute Nue", but this post war (two part) epic is more fitting with this blog. An accidental slip, when reaching for a bed sheet to cover herself with. I have never seen this scene mentioned anywhere else. Maybe because until the restoration it would have been very difficult to notice.
